About the Simmons Family -

Matt and I have been married since April of 2006. By July of that same year we found out I was pregnant with our first child, Teagan. She was a sudden, but very happy surprise for us, and a blessing in our lives. Matt has been working at UPS for the last 5 years and running his used car dealership, Advantage Auto Sales. He has been a busy, loving father and a huge help to me and the kids. I have been doing in home day-care at our house and staying home with the kids. In 2007, we found out I was pregnant with our first baby boy, Hayes. Hayes has been a very happy boy with a very sweet cuddly nature, like his dad. We have been enjoying being parents and are now expecting our 3rd and final baby. Carla is pregnant and due August 2nd, 2011. We will keep you posted on the status of Carla and the baby.

Teagan's First day of Pre-School

We started Teagan in a Montessori Pre-School this year.  She is one of the youngest in her class, but very excited and eager to learn.  She does great in groups and loves to play with anybody, as long as it doesn't include sharing with Hayes.  So she was very excited, up until the first day came and this is how it started.

By the time she got into her class, she got excited all over again.  It has been exciting for us to see the next part of Teagan's life begin.

Cruise - October 2010

This October, Matt and I had the opportunity to go on our first vacation without the kids.  Since we went on a cruise, communication was difficult because of where we were.  We had fun and hope to do another sometime soon.  We went on the 5 day Baja cruise to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.   It was a blast.  In Cabo, we got to do the zip-line tours, which was a first for both of us.  You can see the fear on my face in the some of the pictures.  In Ensenada, we got to go on a Jeep tour that took us to the non-tourists areas of Ensenada.  We just put all of the pictures in a slideshow, so hopefully I explained enough to make sense of it all.
